How AP works

Taking AP exams from Uzbekistan

AP exams are held once a year in May, and you take them at a school or testing site that is registered with the College Board.

  • If your school doesn't offer AP, you can ask a participating school or testing center to host you as an independent student.
  • Sites set their own registration deadlines and fees, so reach out early.
  • You can take exams without taking the matching AP course, but the exam topics are set by the official course.
