What an AP score means
Every exam is scored from 1 to 5. Select a score to see how it's described.
Universities set their own policies on AP credit and placement, so check each university's website for the scores it accepts.
How AP works
Taking AP exams from Uzbekistan
AP exams are held once a year in May, and you take them at a school or testing site that is registered with the College Board.
- If your school doesn't offer AP, you can ask a participating school or testing center to host you as an independent student.
- Sites set their own registration deadlines and fees, so reach out early.
- You can take exams without taking the matching AP course, but the exam topics are set by the official course.
