How to book
IELTS in Uzbekistan can be booked through an official IELTS provider, such as the British Council or IDP.
Confirm which IELTS you need
Check the requirement of the university, employer, professional body or immigration authority. Then choose between:
- IELTS Academic: commonly required for university study and professional registration.
- IELTS General Training: commonly used for migration, work and study below degree level.
- IELTS for UKVI: required only for particular UK visa routes.
RuleDo not choose a test only by its name. The organisation receiving your result decides which test it accepts.Choose a provider and test location
- Open the British Council Uzbekistan or IDP IELTS booking system.
- Choose your city, an available date and a test session.
- Check the venue before paying, especially if you will travel from another city.
Prepare your identification
- You need a valid identification document.
- British Council Uzbekistan currently accepts a valid passport or national ID card for standard IELTS registration.
- IDP advises candidates to use the valid identification accepted by their test centre.
- Upload a clear copy when the booking system asks for it.
- Use exactly the same personal details as shown on your identification document.
Complete the application
Enter your:
- full name
- date of birth
- identification details
- email address
- telephone number
Check every detail before you submit. Your identification details matter, because your identity is checked again on test day.
Pay
- Follow the payment instructions of the provider you chose.
- British Council Uzbekistan supports several local payment methods and bank payment, as well as eligible card payments.
- IDP's booking process also takes you through payment as part of the booking.
- Keep your receipt and booking confirmation.
Check your confirmation
After your booking is confirmed, check:
- test date
- arrival and check-in information
- test venue
- Speaking date and time
- the identification document registered to the booking
RuleDo not rely on the date you remember choosing. Use the final confirmation from your provider.
Payment methods and documents are explained in detail on the Registration page.
